Vancouver-based artist Andrew Dadson has consistently engaged with the notion of boundaries in relation to space and time in his painting, performance, photography and works on paper. His solo exhibition, which features works that have not previously been exhibited in Canada, explores abstraction in various media and includes new monumental paintings.

Dadson (b.1980) graduated from Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in 2003 and has since exhibited his work in Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland and the United States. He was the 2011 recipient of The Brink Award.

NEXT: Andrew Dadson is organized by the Vancouver Art Gallery and curated by Emmy Lee Wall, Assistant Curator. Andrew Dadson: Over the Sun is the sixteenth installment in NEXT: A Series of Artist Projects from the Pacific Rim, presented by TD Bank Group
