We are delighted that you will be visiting the Vancouver Art Gallery. Please review the following guidelines before your visit:

 

GENERAL

• Please do not touch the artwork, the platforms or the walls. Please stay at least 30cm away. Oil from fingers can damage the artworks.
• Do not lean on or use the wall as a writing support.
• Please walk, not run.
• Please use indoor voices in the Gallery and Lobby.
• There is underground parking nearby in the Robson Square Provincial parking lot at Howe and Nelson street (follow underground signs to blue UBC area) or in the parkade at Howe and Georgia street. The best SkyTrain stops are Granville or Burrard, and City Centre for the Canada Line.
• The Gallery Store welcomes groups. To avoid congestion please ensure that students visit in small, staggered groups and are supervised at all times.

 

SELF-GUIDED GROUP VISITS

• Adults and students are required to always stay together at all times.
• Check in at the Admissions Desk located in the Lobby.
• Lockers are available in the Lobby for students’ belongings.

 

SCHOOL TOURS

• It is essential to prepare your group for their visit using the Teacher’s Study Guide available on the website.
• Storage bins are available in the Lobby for students’ belongings.
