Youth age 18 and under receive free admission. The maximum capacity is 30 students with up to 6 adult chaperones. We require 1 adult chaperone for every 6 elementary students and 1 adult chaperone for every 10 secondary students. Please note that admission for adult chaperones is not free and each adult will be required to pay the reduced rate of admission ($25 +GST).  

 

All self-guided visits must be booked in advance. To book your self-guided visit, please contact learn@vanartgallery.bc.ca with the details of your request. 

Please review the following guidelines before your visit:  

• It is essential to prepare your group for their visit using the Teacher’s Study Guide available on the website.  
• Check in at the Admissions Desk located in the Lobby. 
• Lockers are available in the Lobby for students’ belongings. 
• Chaperones must always accompany students. 
• There is underground parking nearby in the Robson Square parking lot at Howe and Nelson Street (follow underground signs to blue UBC area) or in the parkade at Howe and Georgia street. The best SkyTrain stops are Granville or Burrard, and City Centre for the Canada Line.
